The church of Saint Severin is a Roman Catholic church located in the 5th arrondissement of Paris, in the heart of the Latin Quarter. It was the parish church for the students of the University of Paris, built in the 13th century when the city island became too small to accommodate all the students who came to study here. In the 15th to 17th centuries it was enlarged in the flamboyant Gothic style.
