Santo André de Teixido is a small village in the municipality of Cedeira, in the province of A Coruña, Galicia. It is famous for its shrine dedicated to Saint Andrew, one of the twelve apostles of Jesus Christ. According to tradition, anyone who dies without visiting this place is reincarnated into an ant or a snake and has to come here to fulfill their promise.
