GUIMARÃES (Portugal): Church of Nossa Senhora da Oliveira and Salado Monument.
The church was built on the order of King João I, in fulfillment of a promise he made to the Blessed Virgin Mary at the Battle of Aljubarrota.
The Salado monument was built in the 15th century by Dom Afonso IV to commemorate the victory at the Battle of Salado.
