BARCELONA (Spain): Cathedral of Barcelona.It was begun in 1298 on the site of an old Romanesque building, of which a few stone reliefs are still preserved at the northeast doorway. By 1448 it was completed except for the main facade and the dome, which were added in 1898 and 1913.
